[br][br]Robert (Bob) Simpson passed away in Spokane on April 3. He was 90 years old. He attended West Valley High School and then served in the Air Force in WWII, flying bombing missions out of Italy. Upon returning home, Bob married Viva Barth, and the marriage last over 50 years. Children are Robert G. Simpson (deceased), Clinton D Simpson, and Rebecca Rhodes. Bob had six grandchildren and many great grand children. After Viva died, Bob met and married Vivian Amodio, who was his loving companion and wife until his death. Bob was a long time employee of the Washington Water Power. He had a interest in music, and played drums and saxophone. He enjoyed boating and was past Commodore of the Spokane Yacht Club.
