[br][br]Shirley Fay Hakala, 77 of Everett, Wa passed away September 15, 2015. Shirley was born to Ernest and Edith Enyeart July 22, 1938 in Metaline Falls, Wa. Shirley was raised in the care of foster parents Victor and Fay Cowell in Colville, Wa after the age of 5. She married A/1C William M. Blackmore in Colville March 1956. They divorced in 1971. Shirley married Jerry Hakala in 1978 in Spokane, Wa.
Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry, and youngest daughter Linda Sherman. She is survived by daughters Vickey Galvez of Medford, OR; Mary Blackmore of Medford, OR; son, William Blackmore of Everett, step-children Jerry (Anarii) Hakala, Ed Hakala, and Candi Marsh. Grandchildren include Marc (Becky) Galvez, Christopher (Raina) Sherman, Alexander (Melissa) Sherman, Kimberly Blackmore and 10 great grandchildren.
