[br][br]Life ended too soon for Dana on Friday August 22, 2014, at age 65, after a long battle with cancer. He now lives with the sun on his face and the wind at his back forever.
Dana loved working and playing outdoors. Born in Beverly, Massachusetts he moved to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho in 1974 not long after graduating from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. In his youth, Dana excelled at track, football and candlepin bowling. He enjoyed being a carpenter, mostly building custom homes with others in the trade who became treasured friends. Dana often mentioned the happiness he discovered in his adult life was due to the path he travelled with Patty, his wife and true companion of many years. Important highlights of Dana's life were times shared with friends traveling, camping, running, bicycling, skiing, hiking, playing softball and many other activities. Great times and terrific memories happened on the golf course but we hesitate to mention lifetime highlights in regards to Dana's golf game.
Family and friends are too numerous to list here. Come celebrate the life of Dana R. Dube' at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Estate at Elk Point in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Share your laughter and tears over memories and stories of Dana.
