[br][br]John Herbert Bos a lifetime Spokane resident passed away Feb. 8th 2016. Born on Feb. 19th 1927 to George and Gertrude Bos. John served in the Army in 1945 - 1947. He married Virginia M Martin on April 3, 1948. John was owner operator of Empire Foundation for 23 years. Over the years John enjoyed family time at their lake cabin on Coeur d'Alene Lake. In retirement John and Virginia spent many winters with friends in Yuma, AZ. There he enjoyed riding his dune buggy and motorcycle. At home he loved woodworking and made many gifts for his family. Proceeded in death by his wife Virginia of 62 years and son Danny. Survived by his children Jeannette Reed, Jim Bos (Lynne), John M Bos (Gerri), Tom Bos (Myrna), 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. There will be a memorial to celebrate his life on Saturday Feb. 27th at 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 545 E Providence. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
