
[br][br]June Wells Hovey Clark born to Eva Simpson and Carl Hovey in Calgary, Canada the second of five children migrated to California in 1927. In 1943 she met and married the love of her life, USAF pilot Lt. Albert R. Clark. Stationed in Europe and Japan with 4 girls they added a fifth after moving to the SF Bay Area in 1961. June retired in 1978 finding her true calling in weaving and pine needle basketry. After losing her love of 40 years in 1983 she later moved to Spokane in 1990. She leaves behind her daughters: Judith A. Lugone, Colbert, WA; Barbara Rainforth, Vancouver, WA; Sandra Clark, San Jose, CA; Debra Cart, Lake Oswego, OR; Rebecca Lopez, Castle Rock, CO and 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren who loved her deeply and will miss her.
