[br][br]Jeff passed away from health complications at his home in Otis Orchards, August 1, 2015. He is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jeff graduated from University High School in 1977. He had a strong passion for track and field and was a gifted athlete. He held the state high jump record of 7ft. and 1/4in. for several years. Jeff's two beautiful daughters were able to share his love of track with him by attending track meets he would coach at. They also shared a love for the outdoors and will cherish every moment they spent with him. Survived by his parents Sam and Gwen, brother Mike (Candy), daughters Samantha and Lindsay (Jeff Taylor), grandchildren Logan and Kaiya, wife Chris Phelan, step daughter Natalie Phelan, and step grandson Hunter. Jeff's sense of humor, love for animals, and love of the outdoors have given us such treasured memories. Memorial will be held Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the United Methodist Church 115 N. Raymond Rd. Spokane Valley, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in honor of Jeff to the Union Gospel Mission.
